A Brief Note on Graffiti Art:
We want to be clear that we do not promote or condone any type of vandalism to public or private property. If you don't have permission, it's illegal. Like a tattoo, it's very expensive to remove and in most cases it's still visible. Just imagine if it was your property and you had to pay the bill.
Our intention is to feature talented local artists whose work transcends traditional perceptions of the classic graffiti style. Subversive, challenging and beautiful, contemporary graffiti is arguably the most compelling and contentious art movement to emerge in recent years. |
